Early of August 2022, the customer sent an
inquiry to our Europe partner for a kind of high pressure oxygen concentrator,
30liter per min, 5 bar oxygen outlet pressure.
Soon our Europe partner sent this inquiry to us and said "maybe you
can help him". "Yes, we do" that's what i said.
I started to write to the customer by mail
and same evening he called me back by whatsapp and express what he needs for
this machine. Another 3 days he told me a sad story for his wife and introduced
why he started the business on this kind of machines a few years ago, and hope
we can do something for him.
And August 8th, he write to me"We have had number issues with QAQC from
a number of previous suppliers, as this is our first order with you, it is in effect a proof of quality for us". "Maybe I can't fix those issues
for you, but for my machines we designed and made by our own technology, we
will proof we are responsible" I told him about my ideas.
August 9th, the customer convinced the
order as well we confirmed all specification and packaging details of the
discussed topics on the customized products. I want to tell:” we have some
troubles on confirming the customer’s logo, since the customer’s brand packages
he sent which is including over dozen images which having different shapes and
different colors on their brand. I need to write 5 mails and express we are
confused to choose which image is the final. Luckily, I have to say that the
customer sent a final image and told a pantone color for that. August 11th, we
clear”
August 23th, customer requested his
forwarder to contact us and asked whether we can deliver on time or not. Since
20 days is a discussed lead time, so the deadline is August 31th. “ I am also
upset about that since such kind of ODM and OEM order is requesting us to make
a product from 0 to a complete 100% real item. Once the customer pay the
advance payment, immediately I have to discuss with my engineer for the detailed
requirements of this order. According to my engineer’s experience, he can
design the product’s outlook and inner structure in 48 hours. And if all supply
chains are supporting us on time, we can gather all components ready within 10
days and then start the production. However we got a problem on one thing very
fast unexpectedly: The machine’s body. The lasing factory who helps us to shape
the body, their engineer is on holiday, 7 days he didn’t at his position. That
really makes me upset but I can’t tell my customer about this news. Only to
hope that the engineer will get back to his position soon. “
Well, luckily you know now, August 31th
2022, today we get it ready and delivered to the forwarder.
